The fourth season of Industry just wrapped up on March 1, and it has since been reported that the show has been renewed for its fifth and final season. The series follows young, hungry bankers trying to find their way in the world in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Although it’s been off the air for almost an entire month, Industry is still one of the most popular shows to watch on HBO Max, charting in the global top 10 in more than 15 countries around the world. Season 4 earned a nearly perfect 96% from critics on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience-driven Popcornmeter came to rest at a much more lukewarm 71%. The series stars Kit Harington, famed for his work as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers in Stranger Things, also stars.

When Does ‘Industry’ Season 5 Come Out?
It’s still unclear at this time when the fifth and final season of Industry will be released. When the renewal was announced, HBO did not include any information about when production on Season 5 would begin. The show has averaged nearly two million viewers per episode across its fourth season, making it one of the most popular shows in the world. Although it didn’t reach the same heights on streaming charts as other HBO, shows like The Pitt and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Industry has still proven to be one of HBO’s prestige properties.
