Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has begun life at a new franchise in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, having been signed by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Although he did not play in the team’s first game, Arjun appears to be impressing in the nets. In a video shared by LSG, which has gone viral, Arjun could be seen regularly knocking over the stumps while bowling in practice sessions. The video also left fans wanting to see him feature in LSG’s playing XI in upcoming games.
“Arjun in Arjun mode,” captioned LSG.

The left-arm seamer, 26, appeared to be focusing on his yorker, often uprooting the leg-stump or off-stump with his deliveries.
The consistency of Arjun’s deliveries in the nets left fans impressed.
Why are you not having him in the 11 .. I’m sure he will deliver good . Encourage son of the cricket god .

Lucknow Super Giants suffered defeat in their opening game of IPL 2026 against Delhi Capitals. LSG performed poorly with the bat, getting bowled out for just 141 in 18.4 overs. In response, LSG made a terrific start with the ball, reducing the Capitals to 26/4 at one stage. However, a terrific partnership of 119 between Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs saw them cross the line with nearly three overs to spare.
Arjun Tendulkar has been working with legendary India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. Here’s what the latter said about Arjun:
“I’ve learned most of the things from his father – mental battles, physical battles, and technical battles. I am passing the same things to Arjun. He is learning from me, which is great. He is a nice kid; he is very sharp and picks up things very easily. I really wish that I could match his level of hard work. He loves the game. It is fascinating to see Arjun’s commitment levels,” Yuvraj said.
Arjun will be hoping to break into LSG’s lineup for their next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, April 5.
