Auk Computing, in partnership with Qualcomm Technologies has launched a new on-premise (on-prem) AI appliance.

The AI On-Prem Appliance, will be capable of handling diverse workloads including generative AI, computer vision, predictive analytics and data processing, on edge networks.

As a result, enterprises across manufacturing, smart cities, retail, healthcare, and telecom can use the appliance to customize performance based on specific use cases while also strengthening reliability, performance, and overall cost efficiency.

The AI On Prem Appliance was introduced at the India AI Summit 2026 and is available for enterprise and government beginning Q2 2026.

By integrating Qualcomm’s advanced AI capabilities with Auk’s India-led system engineering, hardware design, validation, and manufacturing ecosystem, we have developed a high-performance AI on-prem appliance that meets enterprise and sovereign infrastructure requirements,” said Ashok Ramachandran Director, Auk Computing.

“As AI adoption accelerates across India, enterprises and governments need infrastructure that delivers cloud-grade intelligence with the performance, efficiency, and security required for real-world deployment. The AI On-Prem Appliance brings together Qualcomm’s advanced AI and compute technologies with Auk Computing’s local system engineering and manufacturing expertise to enable scalable, low-latency AI closer to where data is generated,” Evgeni Gousev, VP, Technology, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. said.
