Brand New Day Trailer Release Date Officially Confirmed By Tom Holland

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is only a few months away from opening in theaters, is finally getting its first trailer released to the world. Tom Holland announced on Instagram that Sony is doing something special for the release of the trailer, as portions of it will be shared by fans worldwide ahead of tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18.

This will mark Holland’s first appearance in the MCU timeline since the world last saw his Peter Parker at the end of 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home all the way back in Phase 4. The Phase 6 installment was helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man’s Destin Daniel Cretton.

With the trailer officially on its way, it will finally shed light on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day story, as Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have been keeping a lot of details under wraps. Some of the big mysteries surrounding the film include Sadie Sink’s secret character, as there have been numerous rumors about who she is playing.

The fourth installment in Holland’s Spider-Man franchise will also see the web-crawler together with some established MCU heroes, as Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo will be appearing as Punisher and Hulk, respectively. In Frank Castle’s case, this will be his first MCU movie appearance.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast also features the introduction of several new players, including Marvin Jones III’s Tombstone. Holland’s 2026 entry will be the last MCU film focusing on a solo hero before Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

This is a big year for the Spider-Man IP in live-action, as Sony has its highly anticipated Spider-Noir series coming in May, bringing Nicolas Cage back to the Marvel brand. However, his version of the web-crawler will be Ben Reilly instead of Peter Parker.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31.
