Captain America and Doctor Doom are officially teaming up to save the Marvel Universe. The upcoming Avengers: Armageddon crossover is being touted as Marvel’s biggest in over 20 years, and as the publisher continues to shed more light on its ambitious plans, we can now confirm that the Star-Spangled Avenger and the GOAT Marvel villain are forging an unlikely alliance.
Marvel has shared more details about author Chip Zdarsky’s gamechanging plan for the Marvel Universe. Zdarsky is currently writing Captain America, which will lead directly into Armageddon.
Marvel has also let slip that Red Hulk will apparently be the antagonist of Armageddon. Now, Doom’s involvement is also confirmed, and he seemingly falls on the heroic side of the spectrum.
