Set in the near-future metropolis of Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 tells the story of a mercenary known as V who must race against the clock after discovering that a chip implanted in their head has a death sentence attached, as well as Johnny Silverhand played by none other than Keanu Reeves.
Now five years on, and one fan has found a way to push Cyberpunk 2077 to its graphical limits thanks to the RTX 5090 and 9800X3D.
Cyberpunk 2077 Is The Gift That Keeps On Giving
By using top of the range graphics cards capable of bringing game-changing capabilities to some of our favorite games, Digital Dreams over on YouTube has pushed Cyberpunk 2077 to a whopping 8K with BeyondAllLimits 3.5 Ultra Graphics. In a video shared on their channel, we can see what Night City would look like with photorealistic graphics, and despite Cyberpunk 2077 already being such a stunning game, it is clear to see that it is capable of so much more.
Of course, this photorealistic style is not for everybody, with others preferring a much more artistic approach, but regardless of how you feel, there is no denying that the wonder of technology truly is mind-blowing in 2026. Although we do not see any gameplay, we do get to see V driving through some iconic locations in Night City and its outskirts. Streetlights illuminate the ground, neon lights soak onto the asphalt, and the colors of Night City make the ever-growing horizon shine. It is truly an impressive feat, and one that you can also achieve if you just so happen to have a top of the range gaming PC.
Night City Never Gets Old
Despite CD Projekt RED not confirming if the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel will take place in Night City or a new city entirely, there is no denying that this fictional metropolis is one of the most iconic settings in video game history. As such, it is no wonder that fans are still finding new and unique ways to explore it, whilst also pushing the limits of technology. Now, fans have taken to the comments of the YouTube video to share their thoughts. “Still the best looking game in 2025. You made it look insane,” the top comment reads. “This is insane. Props,” another added.
