Pokémon Fans Have Made Their Own Colosseum Sequel
An official Pokémon Colosseum sequel may not exist, but Pokémon: Dark Horizon is definitely the next best thing as players celebrate all-things Gen 4, complete with familiar graphics and roster. Set in the Aurelia region, this brand-new project is full of challenges and secrets to discover, with over 35 hours of gameplay to enjoy.
A harsh, unforgiving region near the Orre region, where the law of the strongest prevails and only those who are victorious in the Pokémon Colosseums can make a name for themselves.
Set two years after the downfall of Cipher, Pokémon: Dark Horizon will act as a bridge between the events of Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness to bring fans the continuation they have always wanted. As a certified Trainer, you still need to earn and keep your place, but luckily, you are joined by your two partner Pokémon who will help you every step of the way. However, with Cipher having plans for the island, you will soon learn more about the mysterious organization.
Do you have what it takes to survive in the Aurelia region?
Will you be able to stop Cipher?
And can you free all the Shadow Pokémon from their clutches?
Then dive into a Pokémon adventure like you’ve never experienced before!
Pokémon Dark Horizon Is Available Now
Available to download now, Pokémon: Dark Horizon will make for the perfect way to get your Pokémon content ahead of the beginning of Gen 10. Since being uploaded back in February, Dark Horizon has already garnered a legion of fans who have shared their thoughts on the new addition to the franchise, albeit unofficially. “I got excited as soon as I saw who the creator was,” one user commented. “Let’s go, another banger by NikDie! Hope development is going well and can’t wait to play it!” Another added, “Hello! I am really enjoying the game, and think it is very well crafted.”
With the future of the Pokémon franchise looking as bright as ever, it is always exciting to see its biggest fans give us what we want with unofficial sequels and prequels.
