MCU News: New Daredevil Trailers, Doomsday Merch, Tombstone, & More
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 Promotions In Full Force — We’re just over a week left until the premiere of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, meaning promotions and teasers for the upcoming MCU show are in full force. This notably includes a recent teaser released this week that sees the battle lines being drawn in New York as the vigilante war between Mayor Fisk and Daredevil kicks off in earnest:
RDJ’s Doctor Doom Teased With New Doomsday Merch — Merchandise is gradually beginning to appear for Avengers: Doomsday. This includes a new Doomsday keychain discovered this week that more than likely features a first look at none other than Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
Tombstone Confirmed To Appear in Spider-Man Noir — Featuring new looks at some of the foes who will be in Amazon Prime’s Spider-Noir series starring Nicolas Cage, one of the official passes for April’s CCXP Mexico 2026 features a 1930s version of the villain Tombstone, a classic Spider-Man crime boss from the comics.
This remarkably means that three different versions of Tombstone will be appearing in all three of Marvel’s Spider-Man projects releasing this year (Spider-Noir, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2).

“Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them. The Russo brothers did that so well. They do not want anyone just sitting in the background, and they really took to heart the responsibility of having some of the best actors in the world all together. There’s a lot of really exciting pair-ups that happen.“
Pullman went to say that several fantasy team-ups will come to fruition, which is great news for those hoping to see their favorite Avengers teaming up with their favorite X-Men.
DCU News: John Stewart in Man of Tomorrow, Peacemaker Season 3 Hopes, & More
Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart Joining Man Of Tomorrow — The Hollywood Reporter revealed this week that Aaron Pierre will be joining the cast of James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow, following his debut as Green Lantern John Stewart in this year’s upcoming Lanterns series.
Remarkably, this news is coming only a week after Lanterns’ first trailer, though it’s exciting to think about what Stewart’s inclusion might mean concerning Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion) as well as Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl (John Stewart and Hawkgirl have a major romance in the comics and the animated Justice League series).
Composer Claudia Sarne Scoring Supergirl (Replacing Others) — This week also featured the news that the upcoming Supergirl movie is being scored by Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli). This is the second time Supergirl has replaced composers. Originally, the movie was going to be scored by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man) before he was replaced by Person with substance use disorder XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League).
Peacemaker Season 3 Gets Positive Update From Jennifer Holland — After Peacemaker season 2 won Best Superhero Series at the Saturn Awards this week, Emilia Harcourt actress Jennifer Holland addressed hopes for Peacemaker season 3 while talking with MUSE TV. While she did say that “there’s a lot going on at DC right now” (and there definitely is) Holland did tease the potential for a third season:
“But, because of that, the potential of Peacemaker Season 3 kind of revolves around things that might happen before it. So we’ll see what happens.”
Zack Snyder Shares New DCEU Green Lantern Image With Wayne T. Carr — Seemingly in honor of the DCU’s first Lanterns trailer releasing last week, Zack Snyder shared a brand-new BTS image of the photoshoot that was taken with actor Wayne T. The DC Universe is one of the biggest comic book franchises and often competes with Marvel. DC Comics started as National Allied Publications, founded by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson in 1935. Since then, the franchise has exploded with thousands of comic books, movies, TV shows, and video games. 2013 marked the beginning of the most recent iteration of the superheroes, with Zack Snyder introducing Henry Cavill as Superman. After several movies with mixed reviews, DC underwent a soft reboot under the helm of James Gunn and Peter Safran.
