And later this month, Elden Ring fans have a new release coming up that will send them back to the Lands Between. The highly anticipated Road to the Erdtree sequel will officially be available on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Elden Ring: Road To The Erdtree Sequel Releases This Month
Elden Ring: Road to the Erdtree is a fan-favorite manga series, officially licensed by FromSoftware and featuring an original, unique, and hilarious adventure set within the Elden Ring universe. Road to the Erdtree is an ongoing saga from author and illustrator Nikiichi Tobita via Yen Press, and issue #8 is set to drop on March 24.
Road to the Erdtree follows Aseo, a newly arrived Tarnished who wakes in the Lands Between with almost no equipment, little confidence, and a tendency to panic at the worst possible moments. Determined to reach the Erdtree and become Elden Lord, he begins a journey that loosely mirrors the game’s early progression.
Along the way, Aseo encounters familiar locations, enemies, and characters from the game, including figures like Melina and various demigods. Aseo frequently misunderstands the world around him, struggles with basic survival, and relies heavily on luck and help from others, and the character’s actions and thoughts reflect many players’ first experiences playing the game itself.
The series blends recognizable lore and settings from the game with slapstick comedy, turning Elden Ring’s famously dark and punishingly challenging world into a lighthearted adventure.
Elden Ring Fans Love Road To The Erdtree
Road to the Erdtree is a hugely popular manga series among fans of the franchise, and this issue promises to be a hit as well. In #8, Aseo is up to his old antics, and is searching for a way up to the infamous Altus Plateu, “where the Erdtree takes root.” He meets up with Nepheli and ends up butting heads with Gideon Ofnir, brushing paths with Hyetta, Festering Fingerprint Vyke, and more iconic characters from the franchise.
Elden Ring: Road to the Erdtree #8 officially releases on March 8 in local comic shops and online from the Yen Store or other select retailers, and will list for $13.00 USD on trade paperback and $6.99 USD for digital versions. Issue #8 paperbacks are 164 page 5″x7.5″ copies, and the manga series is recommended for “Older Teen” audiences and above. Road to the Erdtree is the perfect addition to any Elden Ring fan’s library.
