Friday the 13th fans may have a reason to celebrate as the iconic horror franchise’s co-creator revealed that another film is on the way.
One of the creators of Friday the 13th, Sean Cunningham, confirmed to TMZ that an “old school” Jason movie is on the way. While he remained vague about the details, he seemed to be optimistic that the recent merger between Warner Bros. and Paramount could help move the project forward. He explained that both studios hold rights to the franchise, which was the main point of contention. However, that won’t be a problem anymore.
