Industry started out as the tiny financial-drama-that-could, premiering on HBO in the shadow of shows like Euphoria and Succession. It has since become a bonafide word-of-mouth phenomenon, increasing its ratings year-over-year while earning the kind of critical acclaim most series dream of. Though each back of episodes has ended with a question mark over it, HBO’s confidence in creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay is clear, as they’ve renewed the show for a fifth and final season.
Now, in an interview with ScreenRant‘s Ash Crossan for her upcoming film They Will Kill You, Myha’la, who plays Harper Stern in the series, has confirmed that Industry season 5 will begin filming in August 2026. Though she admits that she hasn’t read any scripts yet, the actor professed how excited she is to return to set.
