March 31 Is A Day Xbox Game Pass Members Can’t Miss

March 31 is going to be an exceptional day for Xbox Game Pass members, especially those who appreciate a carefully crafted survival horror game that will make them jump from their seats. Via an official post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft recently announced the new batch of free games for Xbox Game Pass in March, revealing a ton of remarkable titles that players will be able to play with their subscriptions – some of which you can’t miss out on.

For example, both South of Midnight and The Alters, which were on the Ultimate tier, were also incorporated into the Premium tier, allowing a whole new group of players to gain access to them. The announcement also revealed that Disco Elysium was joining Xbox Game Pass; this 2019 RPG is considered one of the best of all time. There are several great new titles in the catalog, but one of them will wrap up March beautifully.

On the cusp of the arrival of the April games on Xbox Game Pass, a critically acclaimed survival horror will join the catalog. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will join Xbox Game Pass on March 31.

The game will be made available in the Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass tiers, meaning all members who aren’t part of the Essential tier will gain access to it, should they desire. Via the subscription service, the survival horror game created by Capcom will be playable on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, PC, and via cloud gaming.

The arrival of this horror game on Xbox Game Pass in late March likely means it will remain available in the catalog for around a year, at least, as is the regular behavior of titles that join the service. However, if you’re a fan of the genre, it would be best to play Resident Evil 7: Biohazard as soon as possible rather than put it at the end of your backlog.

If you enjoy absolutely terrifying experiences, know that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is one of the best in the series. The first core entry in the franchise to feature a first-person perspective, the game throws you into a strange household set in rural America. You’ll explore this house, meet its even stranger inhabitants, and have to survive close-up encounters that will make you quiver.

At its launch, many claimed that Resident Evil 7 fixed the franchise’s main problem with its villains, as the Baker family was an extraordinary presence throughout the title in a way that other antagonists in the previous games weren’t. A lot of the terrifying aspects of this game come precisely from the first-person perspective with these villains.

There are some outstanding horror games on the subscription service’s catalog, like different Dead Space titles, but Resident Evil 7: Biohazard may be the absolute best starting March 31. If you enjoy that genre and are an Xbox Game Pass member, be sure to mark your calendar.
