The incredibly talented mangaka responsible for creating Naruto has not produced much artwork since concluding the beloved series in 2014. And with the incredible strain of being a Shōnen Jump mangaka for more than fifteen years, Kishimoto deserves the rest. However, in the years since, he has helped oversee the continuation of his story in Boruto, but that manga is primarily drawn and written by Mikio Ikemoto.
Long-time fans of Kishimoto’s work on Naruto have accepted the sequel series with varying levels of satisfaction. However, anytime the original mangaka releases new content, including the outstanding prequel manga spin-off “Naruto: The Whorl Within The Spiral“, fans are treated to arguably one of the greatest manga artists of all time. And he has finally released more in 2026.
New Naruto Art From Kishimoto Hits Like A Rasengan
According to a post from the official Naruto X (formerly Twitter) account, Masashi Kishimoto has created new Naruto artwork to help celebrate the opening of a new theme park called Naruto – Konoha Land. The attraction will be part of a larger comics theme park known as Parc Spirou Provence, located in the town of Monteux in southern France.
The Konoha Land was officially revealed in 2024 and will be opening on the first weekend of April 2026. Lucky guests who are able to attend will be able to see Kishimoto’s new Naruto piece in person with what’s sure to be an impressive display. And unlike the brooding, fashion-centered art of Boruto, the new Naruto art is sure to make viewers smile.
After 27 Years, Naruto’s Next Anime Will Finally Reveal The Title Hero’s Official Replacement
The upcoming anime adaptation of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will showcase the surprising character who inherits Naruto’s greatest powers.
Naruto and Kurama Join The Celebration
Kishimoto’s new piece of Naruto artwork showcases a young and joyful Naruto wearing his iconic orange jumpsuit while the once monstrous Nine-Tailed Fox sits in the background. Naruto and the fox spirit known as Kurama took many years to eventually get along, but the casual pose and smile on the Nine-Tailed Fox in the artwork are a far cry from the vicious demeanor he displayed when Naruto was a young ninja.
Even though the Boruto series has affected how some people view the Naruto franchise, the original story captivated millions of fans worldwide in a way that still resonates. Almost any art that Masashi Kishimoto releases gives fans a dopamine rush because it’s a reminder of the emotional and inspirational journey of the number one knucklehead ninja and the artistic talent that brought him to life.
