As Nathan Fillion reunites the original Firefly cast for a new animated series, a familiar character will also be returning with a different actor.
Fillion confirmed to Deadline that the iconic character Shep will be returning for Firefly‘s animated series. However, since his original actor, Ron Glass, passed away in 2016, Shepherd Book will be voiced by a new actor in the reboot. Per Fillion, the team is currently looking for a “Ron Glass-type” for the role.
