Though The Mandalorian TV series was strongly inspired by the Mandalorian lore developed in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, few could have predicted that it would also bring back a character introduced in 2008’s The Clone Wars film. The defenseless baby Huttlet Rotta, saved by Anakin Skywalker and his new Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, is the son of Return of the Jedi‘s fearsome Jabba — and defenseless no more.
Rotta, affectionately known as “Stinky,” will be voiced by none other than The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White, as Din Djarin and Grogu become involved with the dangerously criminal Hutt Clan in The Mandalorian and Grogu. “[Rotta’s] in top form, fighting in the pits, a gladiator of sorts,” Favreau told Empire, which debuted the latest image of Allen White’s Rotta, as seen below:
