PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup For April 2026 Off To A Bad Start

With all the new games and departures now confirmed for PlayStation Plus in March, our attention can safely be turned to what’s potentially coming up for April, and as often seems to be the way with these things, we may have to start with the bad news.

PlayStation Plus has been on a great run as a service throughout most of 2025 and into 2026, dropping some huge monthly releases for players to download and keep, at no extra cost beyond their subscription. March’s offering includes Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Persona 5 Royal, EA Sports Madden NFL 26, and Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, with several other worthwhile releases beyond that.

What we might get in April remains a mystery for now, but we do have some idea of what’s going away, and there are two titles that will likely be leaving the service for good when next month rolls around.

PlayStation Plus Is Losing Two Great Games In April

Over on Reddit, one eagle-eyed user shared the two games that have been confirmed to be leaving PlayStation Plus in April in Japan. Whilst it’s important to note that the games don’t always line-up between the regions, they almost always do, so it’s a fairly safe assumption that both EA Sports PGA Tour and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage are on the way out.

The removal of PGA Tour isn’t hugely surprising given the addition of the more recent PGA Tour 2K25 to the Essentials roster in March, but Lost Records is a very solid two-part adventure game from developer Don’t Nod Montréal.

The story of that one takes place in two intertwining timelines, in 1995 and 2022, and the game follows a narrative dreamscape-style experience that’s actually pretty unique. The comments under the original post were also filled with compliments for Lost Records, with one saying, “If you enjoy games like Life is Strange, Lost Records is a MUST PLAY.”

Lost Records was a pleasant surprise for me. Platinumed it, too,” another added.

PlayStation Plus Gamers Should Check ‘Em Out While They Can

If you’re looking to try out Lost Records: Bloom & Rage or EA Sports PGA Tour, you’ll want to get your fill before the middle of next month. With the former, that should be enough time to get the platinum trophy if you really enjoy the experience, but don’t bank on those being the only two PlayStation Plus removals, with more potentially being confirmed in the coming weeks.
