PlayStation Plus Gamers Warned They’ve Last Chance To Grab Six Free Games

PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are prepared to duke it out in 2026. With the Game Pass price hike already here and a potential hike looming for PS Plus, anything can happen.

For now, as reported by Push Square, six games are leaving PlayStation Plus soon. If you want to experience them before they leave, you should act fast.

If you’re someone who uses PlayStation Plus a lot, you’ll want to at least try some of the games that are leaving the service in April. Here are the six games leaving PlayStation Plus, and all the information we have on them:

Out of all of these, we heartily recommend Dave the Diver and TowerFall Ascension. The former is a fantastic simulation game with two distinct mechanics (gathering/exploring and running a restaurant) that gel very well. There’s a reason it’s been one of the most celebrated games of its kind since its release, and it has just hit more platforms over the past year.

TowerFall Ascension is an underrated arena brawler similar to Super Smash Bros., centered around bows and arrows and other power-ups. It’s not just a great party game; it’s also a fun single-player romp with a micro story mode and unlocks to discover. Similarly, Spitlings is another party game for “1–4 players” and currently has “positive” reviews on Steam.

If you’re looking for a wildcard pick to squeeze in, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories could be an oddball choice. Debuting in 2020 and published by NIS, it received mixed reviews at launch, but the idea of running around a destroyed city and helping with the aftermath of an earthquake is not a premise you see every day. If you’ve never played this series before, you can check it out for free now.

The PlayStation Plus April Lineup Will Be Announced Soon

We Have Some Leaks So Far

As of the time of publication, Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream have leaked as April PlayStation Plus bonus games. Folks aren’t too happy about the choices so far, but there are more games on the way in April and beyond.

Although Sony has been doing a decent job at keeping PlayStation Plus competitive, this coming month leaves a lot to be desired so far. There’s still time to juice things up, though.
