Kill Jackie
An upcoming Prime Video series starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kill Jackie is adapted from the Nick Harkaway novel The Price You Pay, which was published under his pseudonym Aidan Truhen. The series, which has yet to release a debut date, revolves around Zeta-Jones’ Jackie Price, an international drug smuggler who’s gone straight, working as an art dealer when she discovers she’s the target of a lethal ring of hitmen.
As Jackie uncovers that she’s being hunted down by The Seven Demons, her old instincts come into play. On a journey for revenge and understanding, Jackie’s past comes back to haunt her as she comes face-to-face with some surprising consequences. The eight-part series seems set for late 2026.

Carrie
Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie will be hitting Prime Video in 2026. The miniseries will adapt King’s novel of the same name with his iconic touch, adding a horror classic to his repertoire. While it appears the story of Carrie White, played by Summer H. Howell, will be recognizable, the series has been billed as a re-imagining rather than a remake.
With Samantha Sloyan playing Margaret White, Carrie’s religious and abusive mother, and Matthew Lizard as Henry Grayle, the principal of her high school, Flanagan’s consistent collaborators Kate Siegel and Rahul Kohli will take on roles in the series, as well.

Blade Runner 2099
Set to hit Prime Video in 2026, Blade Runner 2099 is an upcoming sci-fi miniseries that works as a sequel to Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. Ridley Scott’s long-running franchise, based on Philip K. Dick’s novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, is one of the pillars of cyberpunk culture.
Starring Michelle Yeoh as Olwen, a Replicant facing the end of her life, and Hunter Schafer as Cora, presumably another Replicant, the series is a live-action sequel. Prioritizing a Replicant’s perspective for the first time in the franchise, Blade Runner 2099 is set to be a historic first for fans and long-time followers of the world.

Vought Rising
An upcoming prequel series to The Boys, Prime Video’s Vought Rising will be hitting the streaming platform in the coming year. Starring Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront, the series will explore a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s. Featuring the early exploits of Soldier Boy, the series will have a wide appeal to fans of The Boys.
While there’s not currently a release date for Vought Rising, it’s been confirmed by Ackles that the series is meant to run for multiple seasons. Seeing Soldier Boy in his own element of the 1950s will be an exciting change for fans of The Boys, bringing them closer to the character’s origins.

Tomb Raider
A fresh take on the franchise, Tomb Raider will hit Prime Video in the near future. With Phoebe Waller-Bridge serving as creator and showrunner, the newest iteration of Tomb Raider will star Sophie Turner as Lara Croft. While Tomb Raider has seen several reboots throughout the franchise, the upcoming TV series will be a more character-driven look at Croft.
Hoping to honor both the video game and the past films, Tomb Raider seems to be looking to bring a more modern take on the franchise as a whole. With the chance to finally give Lara Croft the legacy she deserves, the series could be a bright spot in Prime Video’s programming.

God Of War
Based on the video game franchise, God Of War will be coming to Prime Video. While God Of War has received a first-look, showcasing Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus, there hasn’t been much information about what’s to come for the series otherwise. Adapting the Norse era, God Of War is set to closely follow the 2018 game and its sequel.
As many are hoping that the Prime Video adaptation will be the streaming platform’s answer to HBO’s The Last Of Us, Prime is looking for another Fallout for the streaming platform. Despite getting mixed reactions from fans, God Of War appears to be on track for a late 2026 release.
