This year, one of the first great heist movies came in the form of Crime 101. The film stars long-time Marvel veterans Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, opposite Barry Keoghan and Halle Berry. Crime 101 premiered exclusively in theaters on February 13 and grossed $72 million at the box office against a $90 million budget. This came despite strong scores of 85% from critics and 89% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, which made it one of the highest-rated movies of the year thus far. Crime 101 was added to Prime Video yesterday, and the film has wasted no time becoming one of the most popular movies on the platform worldwide. It’s set for a massive run of streaming success over the next few weeks as more fans who couldn’t make it to the theaters check it out from the comfort of their own homes.
