Red Dead Redemption 2 Freebie Available For 24 More Hours

The Red Dead franchise may have been left in the dust in recent years thanks to Rockstar’s effort to finally bring Grand Theft Auto VI to the masses, but if you look hard enough, you may just find a reason to return to the Wild West.

Courtesy of a batch of free downloads, Red Dead Redemption 2 players can head over to Red Dead Online over the next 24 hours to get their hands on some epic freebies, ranging from extra RDO$, to XP, and most importantly, cosmetics. So, if you are still living out your outlaw dreams, you will want to take advantage of this limited-time offer.

Red Dead Online Is Kicking Off A New Month Of Freebies

Courtesy of the current Red Dead Online ‘Moonshiners’ event, players will be able to wrangle themselves triple rewards, a new community-inspired outfit, returning limited-time clothing, and more. Kicking off just yesterday, the event is in full swing, and completing Moonshiner Sales throughout the month will see you bag those rewards. By just completing one Moonshiner Sale, you will earn the green Torbay vest, whilst those who reach level 20 in the career track will be rewarded with the brown Ortega Vest. Last but not least, freeing up any smuggling route by destroying the Revenue Agent Blockage will get you the white Cossack Hat.

Running from now until 30 March, this Red Dead Online event offers a month of freebies, and they do not stop there. This week alone could see you earn the tan Porter Jacket, black Salter Shoes, green Churchwell Vest, and even the Slow Cap Emote, which will display just the right level of sarcasm to other players. The official Rockstar blog details the ways in which you can bag these cosmetics yourself.

By logging in each day throughout the month, you will soon earn yourself these rewards, and become the most stylish in the Wild West.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Fans Should Dive Back In

Rockstar Games

Arriving back in 2018 alongside the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online continues to go strong to this day. Despite not receiving any major content additions over the years, it still boasts a healthy player base with players able to take on heists, earn gold, and customize their very own cowboys in the setting that we all know and love. However, there is no denying that Red Dead Online has not received the same amount of love as Grand Theft Auto Online, but, following the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI this November, hopefully Rockstar will turn its attention back to its Red Dead saga soon after.

For now, Red Dead Online players can take part in various missions to bag themselves free gold, XP, and, as mentioned, a heap of cosmetics, and so, if you are still in love with the world that Rockstar has created, this is the perfect way to enjoy it ahead of the (hopeful) announcement of Red Dead Redemption 3.
