Resident Evil Requiem DLC Leak All But Confirms Leon’s Wife

As Resident Evil Requiem continues to enjoy a long tail of sales due to positive word of mouth, Capcom is clearly gearing up for DLC. Nearly every modern Resident Evil entry gets DLC in some form, and leaks have pointed at where Requiem could go.

In this case, we’re fairly certain that the DLC will be focused on Leon. But new leaks from famed Resident Evil leaker Dusk Golem over on X suggest there could be more at play.

Resident Evil Requiem Confirmed Leon Is Married

The DLC Is Supposed To Focus On Leon

In Resident Evil Requiem, we see Leon wearing a wedding ring, leading to all sorts of fan speculation. This mystery continued to draw fan speculation, as director Koshi Nakanishi confirmed that Leon was married but didn’t specify to whom. Now, a potential leak verified by Dusk Golem seems to confirm that she could make an appearance in the DLC. Speaking to Skill Up, Leon’s voice actor Nick Apostolides also replied, “That is not for me to know. I don’t know.”

As Dusk Golem notes: “There was a slight slip up somewhere (I won’t give context), this isn’t from my sources, unintentional leak. But Ada Wong is very likely in the Resident Evil Requiem’s DLC. That’s all the context, it’s not my claim. It’s from something that went public a bit accidentally, I think it was an honest mistake so don’t want to get anyone in trouble. But yeah, paints Ada being involved in RE9’s DLC in some way. So to see how that goes ultimately.”

Resident Evil Requiem’s DLC May Have Confirmed Leon’s Wife

We Want More Leon Home Life

In true Resident Evil fashion, the speculation train has left the station. Fans are wondering what this DLC could potentially entail and how soon we could get it. Right now, many fans suspect that Ada Wong is indeed Leon’s wife. If this is the case, having them together in the DLC could be a ton of fun, especially if they play up their relationship.

Even if they aren’t married, though, it would still be a fun dynamic. Resident Evil 4 is a fan favorite for a reason, and the dynamic between Leon and Ada is partly why that game is so memorable. Fans are even speculating that Ada Wong was already in the game, impersonating a soldier in uniform.

Even if we don’t get more Grace, it’s clear that she could make an appearance in future games. The roster of Resident Evil protagonists is increasing regularly, though, and Capcom still has plenty of other people to draw from, like Barry Burton (who hasn’t had a major part in an RE game since Revelations 2), or even Rose.
