Resident Evil Requiem Just Got A Major Update
Now, to celebrate a month of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom has announced its first major update, which is available to download now. The free update comes alongside various bug and localization fixes, but perhaps most importantly, is the addition of a Photo Mode. It does beg the question as to why Resident Evil 9 did not launch alongside a Photo Mode, but hey, it is here now, and fans will be able to conduct photoshoots with Leon Kennedy at will. With stunning photorealistic graphics, incredible shadows and lighting, and breathtaking performances from its characters, Resident Evil Requiem is a game made for Photo Mode, and luckily, it is now here to enjoy.

Resident Evil Requiem DLC Is Coming
However, that is not the end of the good news when it comes to Resident Evil Requiem, as multiple rumors suggest that a DLC is also on the way. After all, almost every modern-day Resident Evil entry welcomes DLC not long after its launch, and it seems as though Resi 9 will be no exception. According to insider Dusk Golem over on Twitter, this DLC will not only focus on Leon, but it will also feature his mysterious wife.
At the end of Resident Evil Requiem, depending on which ending you got, you will see Leon slip on a wedding ring, and although director Koshi Nakanishi confirmed that Leon was married, he did not reveal who the lucky lady was. However, the upcoming DLC may change this. At least according to Dusk Golem, who said, “There was a slight slip up somewhere (I won’t give context), this isn’t from my sources, an unintentional leak. But Ada Wong is very likely in the Resident Evil Requiem DLC. That’s all the context. That’s not my claim. It’s from something that went public a bit accidentally. I think it was an honest mistake, so I don’t want to get anyone in trouble. But yeah, paints Ada being involved in RE9‘s DLC in some way. So to see how that goes ultimately.” So could Ada be the lucky lady?
It remains to be seen, but for now, it is time to brush up on your photography skills as you enjoy Resident Evil Requiem‘s brand-new Photo Mode.
