Deadline reports that the actor is teaming up with Universal Pictures and Everything Everywhere All at Once directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (The Daniels) for an event film that hasn’t even received a title yet but will be released in theaters on November 19, 2027. Filming will get underway in Los Angeles, California, in summer 2025.
The supporting cast will reportedly consist of younger actors, with auditions being set up for anyone wanting to land those roles alongside Gosling.
Aside from overseeing the project as directors, Kwan and Scheinert will also serve as producers with Sara Scott, Jacqueline Garell and Jonathan Wang, the latter of whom worked with Kwan on the upcoming documentary The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptomist.
