ONGC has informed that the Daman Upside Development Project in the western offshore, located about 180 km north-west of Mumbai and about 80 km south of Pipavav in Gujarat, with a capex of about $1 billion, achieved a significant milestone on March 29, 2026, by monetising gas from Platform B-12-24P.

The platform has been successfully commissioned and gas has been sent to the Hazira plant. The project was executed in less than two years from the date of award through strong project execution, innovative use of the drill-deck, and strong performance by the drilling and production teams.

This milestone marks the commencement of gas monetisation from the DUDP.

Shares were up 1 per cent on the NSE to ₹285.40.
