Among the influx of free titles, another game has just arrived entirely for free. Available via its product page on Steam, Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure is a new free game on the platform. All you have to do is claim it, and it will be added to your library permanently. From there, you can download and play it at any time – and as an idler, you may be playing it throughout your entire day, even if not actively.
Steam Dropped A New Fantasy RPG You Can Play Free Now
Nocturnal Quest Is A Semi-Idle Game
Unlike Bongo Cat on Steam, Nocturnal Quest is not an entirely idle game. Described as a “semi-idle adventure RPG,” you can build teams that have access to hundreds of different spells and effects, six different classes, 12 specializations, and much more. The teams that you build can set off to grind gear to get even stronger, and with it, progress further down an infinite number of levels, according to the developers at Lunarade OÜ.
Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure was first released in early access as part of a bunch of free games on Steam in January, but has since been fully released on March 31. The game mixes turn-based combat with real-time mechanics, giving battles more depth. Outside of combat, you can let your team grind while you do other activities. It is worth noting that the game does possess AI-generated assets, such as artwork and audio.
Steam Always Has Something New And Free To Play
Pick A Freebie From A Variety Of Different Genres
If Nocturnal Quest isn’t your jam – either because of its gameplay structure or the usage of AI-generated assets – you should know that there are dozens of different options for you. In addition to the aforementioned eight free titles, you can instead pick up four other free games on Steam right now, entirely for free.
There are also some limited-time free downloads to grab until April 6, even if not all of them are games. Freebies are a constant on the platform, and Screen Rant is regularly reporting on new arrivals, as well as uncovering hidden gems that may have flown under your radar, so be sure to keep up with our Steam coverage to not miss out on your next favorite free game.
