The Madison is off to a strong start on Paramount+, quickly setting a new benchmark for Taylor Sheridan’s growing TV empire.

According to the streamer, citing data from Luminate, the family drama pulled in 8 million global viewers within its first 10 days, making it the biggest original series launch for any Sheridan show on the platform. The streamer noted it relied on Luminate metrics due to an ongoing technical issue with Nielsen.

Premiering on March 14, the series also delivered another big win after it became Sheridan’s biggest freshman season debut among women 35 and older, a key demographic for Paramount+. Created by the Yellowstone mastermind, The Madison shifts away from Sheridan’s usual crime-heavy storytelling and instead leans into an emotional drama centered around grief and complicated family dynamics.

The six-episode series follows the Clyburn family as they leave behind their comfortable life in New York City for the slower pace of Montana, with an ensemble cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Beau Garrett, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, and Alaina Pollack.

All six episodes of The Madison are available to stream on Paramount+.
