Larsen & Toubro (₹3,614): Barring the short-lived rise to ₹4,440 seen in February, the stock is broadly range-bound. A fall to ₹3,100-3,000 is possible in the short term. A break below ₹3,000 is less likely. A sustained rise above ₹4,100 can strengthen the momentum. That in turn can take L&T share price up to ₹5,000-6,000 in the medium term.

From a long-term perspective, the stock can target ₹8,000 on the upside. Hold the stock. Buy more on dips at ₹3,220. Keep the stop-loss at ₹2,830. Move the stop-loss higher to ₹3,940 as soon as the stock goes up to ₹4,250. Revise the stop-loss higher to ₹5,030 and ₹6,750 when the price touches ₹6,100 and ₹7,300 respectively. Exit the stock at ₹8,000.
I have shares of Vodafone Idea. I bought the stock this year at ₹9.75. Can I hold it for ₹15
Jasneet
Vodafone Idea (₹8.60): The short-term outlook is negative. The price action since mid-November last year indicates a head and shoulder pattern on the chart. The fall below ₹9.75 last month confirms this pattern. That leaves the outlook bearish. The stock can fall to ₹6.5-6.25 from here.
A strong bounce there after may have the potential to take the share price up to ₹11. So, a rise to ₹15 looks unlikely. You may have to exit the stock now and come out with a minimum loss. You can consider re-entering the stock at ₹6.5. Keep the stop-loss at ₹5.3. Exit the stock at ₹11. The stock will come under danger for a fall to ₹4-3 only if it breaks below ₹6.
I have bought HFCL shares at ₹67.80. What can be the target for a two-year outlook?
Devang
HFCL (₹72): A crucial support is around ₹55. As long as the stock stays above this support, the broader bias will remain positive. Key resistance is at ₹95. The stock has to breach this hurdle in order to gain momentum and rally to ₹200-205 over the next couple of years. A sideways range of ₹55-95 is also a possibility for some time.
So, you may need some patience to hold this stock. Keep a stop-loss at ₹38. Buy more at ₹64 again if you get a dip. Move the stop-loss up to ₹78 when the price goes up to ₹98. Revise the stop-loss higher to ₹83, ₹108 and ₹135 when the price touches ₹102, ₹135 and ₹168 respectively. Exit the stock at ₹200.
I have purchased Senco Gold at ₹558. What is the outlook?
Suneeth Bhat, Sirsi, Karnataka
Senco Gold (₹289): The broader trend is down since September 2024. Immediate resistance is at ₹296. There is room to test ₹265, a crucial support. A strong bounce from there and a subsequent rise above ₹295 is needed to get some breather. If that happens, there are good chances to see a rise to ₹350.
However, going back up to your purchase price is not looking likely. Buying more around ₹265 is also not advisable as the bounce from there may not go above ₹350 easily. So, you have to exit the stock now and accept the loss. Having a stop-loss in place is must whenever you enter any trade. That will help you minimise the loss. You can also avoid getting stuck in a wrong position.
