However, there’s a brand-new adventure featuring CD Projekt Red’s version of Geralt that fans have been looking forward to this year, and it’s finally and officially available to grab now (via Dark Horse).
Geralt Is Back In A New Series Of Witcher Adventures
Geralt is officially making a 2026 return today with the release of Dark Horse Comics The Witcher Omnibus collection Volume 3, a massive trade paperback comic series anthology that includes several unique tales featuring CD Projekt Red’s version of Geralt. The Omnibus Volume 3 edition collects three separate full comic series, including The Ballad of Two Wolves, Wild Animals, and Corvo Bianco.
Omnibus Volume 3 will also feature the 2023 Free Comic Book Day story “Frog Kiss,” and includes a unique cover gallery and expanded sketchbook section with original artwork. It’s a massive new Witcher collection totaling well over 350 pages of content, and is an essential addition to any hardcore Witcher fan’s library.
Each story was originally released in 4–5 separate issues and written by author Bartosz Sztybor, with various artists including Miki Montllo, Nataliia Rerekina, and Corrado Mastantuono. Omnibus Volume 3 officially hits shelves today, available at local comic book shops and select online retailers for roughly $30 USD.
Where Is That Witcher 3 DLC?
The Omnibus Volume 3 collection will keep fans of the franchise busy for the moment, but what they’re really looking for is an official announcement from CD Projekt Red confirming the existence and details of the highly rumored new The Witcher 3 DLC. The project has been on the fore of every Witcher fan’s mind in anticipation of The Witcher 4‘s launch in 2027, and hopes are that a new DLC will shadow drop in the coming months.
However, CD Projekt Red have been notoriously tight-lipped on the project, assuming it even exists, though recent rumors suggest that they’re gearing up for a big announcement soon. Assuming the project does exist, it’s apparently supposed to bridge the gap in terms of story between The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 4, and would unquestionably delight every Witcher fan across the globe.
