The Masked Singer panelists have been stumped about Galaxy Girl’s identity, guessing Lindsay Lohan and Dixie D’Amelio (Rita), Jennifer Love Hewitt, Hilary Duff, and Kate Hudson (Jenny), and Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway, and Gwen Stefani (Ken). However, on Ozzfest Night, guest panelist Kelly Osbourne guessed that Galaxy Girl was Ashlee based on her voice, and she’s most likely correct.
Galaxy Girl’s Ozzfest Night Clue All But Proves That She’s Ashlee Simpson
During The Masked Singer season 14 Ozzfest Night, Galaxy Girl shared that her first concert was Lilith Fair, and she remembered seeing the women perform on stage and thinking that she wanted to be them. Ashlee has shared that her first concert was Lilith Fair.
Galaxy Girl went on to say that, for years, she was lost in the background because she wasn’t the one who sang, so she kept that dream a secret. She would wait until everyone left the house, sit by the piano, and sing at the top of her lungs, just for her. When Galaxy Girl finally built up the confidence to tell her family, they didn’t want her to get her hopes up, or, worse, fail. She was so nervous to sing and was expecting the worst. However, they were shocked because Galaxy Girl was great and completely herself, and eventually those festivals she dreamed of as a kid didn’t seem so impossible after all.
Ashlee is the younger sister of music superstar Jessica Simpson. However, she eventually came out of her shadow and launched a music career of her own. Ashlee has played at several music festivals, including Music Midtown (2004), Kiss Concert (2004), Summer Music Mania (2004), and Canyon Sessions (2018). In April 2026, Ashlee is scheduled to perform at Stagecoach Festival.
Other Ozzfest Night Clues That Prove Galaxy Girl Is Ashlee
On The Masked Singer season 14 Ozzfest Night, several other clues proved that Galaxy Girl is Ashlee. An album that had the word “Dream” printed on a picture of clouds referred to her 2008 song “Never Dream Alone.” The word “Halo” was also a clue, with Galaxy Girl explaining, “Not everyone earned the halo in life, but, in my lifetime, this girl sure did!” This could be a nod to her role of Cecilia Smith on 7th Heaven from 2002-2004.
Masked Singer’s Heidi Montag reveals an injury she sustained as Snow Cone that would’ve forced her to leave the competition if she wasn’t eliminated.
A toy gondola in a fountain was a reference to Ashlee’s 2025-2026 “I Am Me” residency at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, where gondola rides are a popular tourist attraction.
In addition, Kelly was able to guess her not only because of what she called the sexy gravel in her voice, but because, at the end of her performance, Galaxy Girl did a jig that was similar to the one that Ashlee did on Saturday Night Live during the infamous incident when she was caught lip-syncing on stage.
Galaxy Girl’s Premiere & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night Clues Also Prove She’s Ashlee
During The Masked Singer season 14 Premiere Night, Galaxy Girl revealed in her clue package that she was accepted into the best schools on scholarship, and she was the youngest on stage. This matches Ashlee’s experience of enrolling in the School of American Ballet in New York City when she was eleven. She was the youngest person ever to be admitted.
Several of Ashlee’s songs were referenced in her clue packages as well. A “Welcome 2 LA” sign on Premiere Night was a nod to her song “La La,” while a calendar page with Friday the 13th circled was a reference to the film Freaky Friday, which featured her song, “Just Let Me Cry,” on its soundtrack.
During Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night, a clue was Christmas jingle bells, which most likely referred to Ashlee’s 2002 song, “Chrismas Past, Present, and Future,” which was featured on the holiday album, School’s Out! Christmas, and later re-released on Radio Disney Jingle Jams after Ashlee’s success in the music industry. In addition, a bookstore clue referred to her number one, triple-platinum-selling album, Autobiography.
On The Masked Singer season 14 Premiere Night, the constellations Virgo and Libra were shown in Galaxy Girl’s clue package. Ashlee was born on October 3, which makes her a Libra, while her husband, actor and singer Evan Ross, was born on August 26, and is a Virgo.
On Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night, Galaxy Girl shared that, the night before one of the biggest shoots of her life, she changed her whole look, and she didn’t tell anybody, which was exactly what Ashlee did when she dyed her hair from blonde to brunette in 2004 after she finished filming the TV show, 7th Heaven, with a box of brown hair dye from CVS. This was right before she shot the music video for her debut single, “Pieces of Me.”
In addition, a yellow surfboard clue referenced Ashlee’s two Teen Choice Awards because the award is a surfboard. A bowl of oranges rejected by Galaxy Girl was a nod to Ashlee’s 2005 Orange Bowl halftime show, during which she was booed while singing her single, “La La.” This performance followed her disastrous Saturday Night Live appearance, which she referenced on Premiere Night when she said that she wasn’t perfect.
Although it’s only speculation right now, The Masked Singer season 14’s Galaxy Girl seems to be Ashlee. Kelly was most likely right with her guess, but fans will probably have to wait a bit longer to find out the truth because Galaxy Girl is such a talented performer. She’ll most likely advance to the finals and win the Golden Mask Trophy. The Masked Singer season 14’s Galaxy Girl is out-of-this-world.
The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
