After these performances, the Masked Singer panelists had many guesses for High Voltage’s identity, including Conan O’Brien (Robin Thicke), Julian Edelman and Jimmy Fallon (Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg), Billie Joe Armstrong and John Stamos (Ken Jeong), Johnny Rzeznik (Rita Ora), and Tim Allen (guest panelist Kelly Osbourne). However, they’re most likely incorrect because High Voltage’s clues point to Alexi Lalas.
High Voltage’s Ozzfest Night Clue All But Proves His Identity As Alexi Lalas
During The Masked Singer season 14 Ozzfest Night, High Voltage shared that he and Ozzy both know what it’s like to break out from a group and go solo. At that point, a sign that read, “Best Voltage 95¢,” was shown.
High Voltage went on to say that he had his own band of brothers, and they went through everything together: the practice, the victories, and the defeats. After that, a jar of jam was shown. High Voltage continued that he knew if he wanted higher stakes in the game, he’d have to do more than just play it. So, he cut the cord, and went out on his own. High Voltage stated that it could’ve been a huge disaster, but he crushed it. He now runs businesses, bands, podcasts, and does anything to stay current. A ticket with a cowboy hat printed on it was then shown.
High Voltage’s final Ozzfest Night clue was the word, “Bandwagon.” He explained, “Well, let’s just say that because of me, and others, some people jumped onto the bandwagon.”
These clues refer to Alexi’s soccer career. In 1994, he played in the 1994 FIFA World Cup for the United States, in which he was a standout player. Partially because of him, many Americans jumped on the soccer bandwagon. After that, in 1995, he decided to play for Italy’s Serie A as a member of Calcio Padova, which was a huge risk that paid off.

The Masked Singer season 14 contestant High Voltage’s true identity has been one of the biggest mysteries, but we know exactly who this is.
Alexi is also a musician, who jams. He’s released eight solo albums, and has played in a band called The Gypsies. The business refers to how Alexi served as the president of the LA Galaxy soccer team from 2006 to 2008, during which the team signed David Beckham. He then spent six years as a commentator for ESPN, followed by FOX Sports. Currently, Alexi hosts the podcast, State of the Union, in which he and David Mosse discuss American soccer. In addition, Alexi often wears a cowboy hat during appearances, which explains the cowboy hat ticket.
Other Clues That Prove High Voltage Is Alexi Lalas
The Masked Singer season 14 contestant High Voltage has many clues on his costume that prove that he’s probably Alexi. A soccer ball appears inside his mask, while number 22 is printed on his chest. Alexi wore number 22 when he played professional soccer. In addition, a Fear Night clue of a cup with a picture of the world on it referred to his participation in the 1994 World Cup. High Voltage also mentioned being called a revolutionary because Alexi played for the New England Revolution soccer team from 1996-1997.
High Voltage also referred to his physical appearance on Fear Night, stating that sometimes you’ve got to get a little crazy to draw a lot of attention. During the 1994 World Cup, Alexi was known for his distinct look, which included long red hair, a long red goatee, and a headband. Gingerbread cookies in High Voltage’s Red, White, and Clue Night clue package represented Alexi’s red hair. He also released an album called Ginger in 1998. A goat appeared in his Red, White, and Clue Night clue package, which could refer to his goatlike beard, or to the fact that some consider him the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of soccer.
High Voltage’s Fear Night Rose Bowl clue referenced Alexi’s participation in the United States’ 2-1 upset victory over Colombia in the 1994 FIFA World Cup game played at the Rose Bowl, in which he was a standout player. Also, an “on air” sign in High Voltage’s Red, White and Clue Night clue package referenced Alexi’s career as a sports commentator. In addition, an acoustic guitar clue on that night was a nod to Alexi’s music career.
During The Masked Singer season 14 Fear Night, a container of grease referenced Greece, the country from which Alexi’s father hails. On Red, White, and Clue Night, High Voltage shared that his dad immigrated to the United States with a passion for science, and met his mom, a poet. Alexi’s father is Demetrios Lalas, a professor, who later became the director of Greece’s national observatory, while his mother, Anne Harding Woodworth is a published poet.
The Masked Singer season 14’s High Voltage’s clues seem to indicate that he’s Alexi. It’s only speculation right now, but everything is pointing in that direction. Whoever he turns out to be, High Voltage’s performances have been electrifying, and he has an excellent chance of winning The Masked Singer season 14 and taking home the Golden Mask Trophy.
