Who Else Stars In Nicole Kidman’s Crime Thriller

Prime Video’s Scarpetta is a starry introduction to the world of author Patricia Cornwell’s long-running novel series. Starting in 1990 with Postmortem, Patricia Cornwell’s Scarpetta series is one of the most successful psychological thriller book series of all time.

With 29 books to its name, the ongoing novel series has no lack of stories available for adaptation. Fortunately, Prime Video’s Scarpetta TV series brings two books to life at once by adapting both Postmortem and 2021’s Autopsy with a decade-shifting dual timeline. Rosy McEwen stars as the young Kay Scarpetta, while Nicole Kidman plays her older self.
