Marvel just dropped killer new alternate looks for Wolverine and Deadpool, and if the designs are any hint about the future, it’s possible the duo could find themselves working for the all-new version of S.H.I.E.L.D. soon enough. For now, catch a glimpse of what Wade and Logan look like rocking classic S.H.I.E.L.D. gear.

Marvel released “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” variant covers for Wade Wilson: Deadpool #3, by artist Geoff Shaw, and Wolverine #19, illustrated by Juan Frigeri.

As the Marvel Universe heads down the path to ARMAGEDDON, anything is possible. Including that these variants could perhaps be a prelude to the heroes’ role in the next chapter of Marvel lore.
