While speaking with The Wall Street Journal, Victoria, 51, was asked about her eldest son, but she declined to use his name. The Spice Girls singer told the outlet, “I think that we’ve always… We love our children so much.”“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she added. “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. Among the messages, Brooklyn claimed his parents had been trying “endlessly to ruin” his relationship with Nicola in the name of publicity and valued “public promotion and endorsements above all else.” Other accusations included claiming his parents tried to “bribe” him into “signing away the rights” to his name before his and Nicola’s wedding and that Victoria “hijacked” his wedding dance with Nicola and “danced inappropriately on me.““I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he said at the time.
